OdiBets confirmed as new shirt sponsors

Kenyan gaming firm OdiBets is the new shirt sponsor of Mathare United in a  three season sponsorship worth Sh60 Million starting December 2018. 

This is one of the largest sponsorship agreement in the history of the Club, which will now be wearing the OdiBets logo on the front of the first team’s kit.

Making the announcement, OdiBets Country Marketing Manager, Dedan Mungai said, “We’re really excited to announce this partnership with Mathare United FC, a Club with great heritage and significance in Kenya’s footballing scene. The deal is worth Sh60 Million for three seasons. It's an open deal that stands to be built on incrementally.  The club are coming off a very impressive season as the most improved team in the KPL and we can’t wait to see how the next few seasons unfold”.

Dedan added: “OdiBets and Mathare United share a similar story and vision with our focus being nurturing sporting talent from the mtaa to national and international stardom”.

As Mathare United FC heads into another season, the players, technical bench and management are delighted that OdiBets is now the main Club Partner.

Chairman Bob Munro commented, “The past few seasons have been particularly successful for the Club both on and off the pitch despite some financing challenges. This sponsorship will certainly give the Club the stability it needs to forge ahead and compete for the KPL title”.

A key part of the sponsorship with OdiBets will be the development of grassroots football activities and charitable outreach programmes in conjunction with Mathare United to promote the causes that both entities are committed to.

Odibets will also have a wide presence inside Mathare United’s home ground stadium through various kinds of branding.
