Mwanzia to lead onslaught against Zoo Kericho

Former Coast Stima forward Elijah Mwanzia is set to make his Mathare United debut in the Round 15 league match against Zoo Kericho to be played at the Kericho Green Stadium on Sunday 2 July.

Mwanzia, who joined the club in January, will be the target man upfront in a three prong attack that also has Daniel Mwaura and new signing Ronald Reagan.

Ashinga, Reagan debut 

Another acquisition during the June transfer window, Victor Ashinga also makes the starting eleven where he will play the anchor role. Alongside him is club top scorer Chrispin Oduor and Tyson Otieno who returns to the first team.

Unchanged defence

The rearguard remains unchanged with skipper George Owino partnering Lennox Ogutu at the heart of defence while Martin Ongori and Samuel Olwande play on the right and left respectively. Levis Opiyo starts in goal in the absence of the injured Wycliffe Kasaya.
