Mathare open two point gap with KCB win

The lads established a two-point cushion at the summit of the log with a 2-1 win over KCB at Kasarani on Wednesday.

Cliff Nyakeya opened the scoring from the spot in the 11th minute before Clifford Alwanga doubled the lead on 40 minutes.

Chrispinus Onyango pulled one back for the bankers at stoppage time but it proved a mere consolation. 

The win leaves us top of the table with 13 points, two ahead of second-placed Western Stima.
