Mathare open 2019 season with Chemelil tie

Mathare United will begin their 2019 Kenyan Premier League campaign on December 8 with a home game against Chemelil Sugar at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.

A week later the boys will travel to Bungoma to take on Nzoia Sugar at the Sudi Stadium before returning to the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos to face off with 2010 champions Ulinzi Stars on December 22.

Round 4 will see Posta Rangers host the Slum Boys at Ruaraka Grounds on December 29 just after the Christmas break. The transfer window will close on December 31 and two days later we will host newly promoted KCB at Kasarani in what will be our first match of the new year.

Our first leg match against champions Gor Mahia will be played on Sunday, January 6 at Kasarani.

The last match of the season has been scheduled for May 29, 2019 against Gor Mahia at the same venue.

Thereafter the 2019/2020 season will run from August 2019 to May 2020 in compliance with directives from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to adopt the European format.
