Maiden Start For Osonga Against Gor Mahia

Head coach Francis Kimanzi has made three changes to his first eleven for the Round 13 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match against Gor Mahia to be played at the Kenyatta Stadium on Sunday.

Robert Mboya returns to man the posts after shaking off a knock and he will relegate his understudy Job Ochieng’ to the bench.

Osonga starts

Injured skipper George Owino will be replaced by Gilbert Osonga in what will be his first start of the season. He will play alongside Johnstone Omurwa at the heart of defence. David Owino keeps his place at left back while Samuel Olwande starts at right back.

Alwanga benched

Samuel Ndung’u gets his third consecutive start where he will provide width out on the left side of a three prong attack that also has Cliff Nyakeya on the opposite flank. Chris Ochieng’ has been selected ahead of Clifford Alwanga to lead the onslaught.

The duo of Edward Seda and Chrispin Oduor will pull the strings at the center of the park as Francis Omondi plays the anchor role in midfield.
