Ronald Reagan has expressed his delight at scoring his first goal in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) during the Round 19 match against Sony Sugar played on Sunday 6 August at the Awendo Green Stadium.

Reagan, who joined the club in the June transfer window from Kibera Black Stars, made his debut for the club against Zoo Kericho on Sunday 2 July but has had to endure four matches without a goal despite being a regular starter.

He finally broke his duck in the 15th minute of the Millers’ encounter when he sneaked in at the back post to tap in from close range capitalizing on a defensive lapse from the hosts. Enamored by his achievement, Reagan has set his sights on extending his tally in consequent matches.

“I feel good to have scored because my target was to get at least one goal in the first five matches that I play. I hope in the next match I will add more goals.

New target

“I have not been under any pressure (for not scoring) because I have been taking each game at a time. My target is to score two more goals and hit my initial target of three goals in the first five matches then from there I can set new targets,” revealed Reagan.
